The Hume Highway Patrol Awards Ceremony was held at One Raceway Goulburn on Wednesday 10th June 2026, recognising the commitment, dedication and hard work of current and former members of the Hume Highway Patrol.
Deputy Commissioner Paul Pisanos APM of Regional NSW Field Operations, Assistant Commissioner David Driver APM Commander of Traffic and Highway Patrol and Superintendent Joseph Thone of Traffic South Command were in attendance and presented 96 medals and awards to officers from Mittagong, Goulburn, Yass and Young Highway Patrol.
“Today is not merely a ceremony of awards; it is a celebration of service, sacrifice and unwavering commitment to policing and road safety," Commander of Traffic South Superintendent Joseph THONE said.
"It is an opportunity to pause, reflect and acknowledge the remarkable contributions of those who stand on the front line of policing. Today, we have the opportunity to shine a light on those moments that exemplify the very best of policing."
